Our Mission
Would you love to learn watchmaking but don’t know where to start? Perhaps you’re a graduate looking to continue your study, or even, a seasoned practitioner who wants to share your experience or seek advice on a head scratching project.
The Watchmakers’ Café will be a friendly, social, free-to-use site which will welcome practising watchmakers at all stages in their careers to further their skills and share their craft.
There will be a Café members’ forum, articles by established watchmakers, a reference library and educational videos put together by a small team of practitioners from a diverse range of backgrounds and approaches to the industry.
The main objective for this site is to support watchmakers in the UK, however, we are an open network and welcome practitioners from anywhere in the world to join us, ask questions, and share their skills.
The project has been started by watchmakers Craig & Rebecca Struthers with the generous support of the Heritage Crafts Association’s President’s Award selected by the HCA President - HRH The Prince of Wales.
